Economic Justice

Economic disparity is growing as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.  Our nation's policies are increasingly benefitting the haves over the have-nots and the middle class is dwindling.  Starting here in New York, folks have taken to the streets creating a grassroots protest that has engaged the world and while so many Occupy financial other power centers, many still suffer without access to food, shelter or health care.

This crisis has taken center stage during this presidential election year as Unitarian Universalists join the many voices declaring the national budget a moral document.
